When storing your dive tank in a common area, sometimes you may encounter the inconvenience of finding that your equipment has been used by other people. If it is unpleasant to find out your tank is abnormally empty before a dive departure, the inconvenience is even greater when the tank contains a gas other than air, sometimes expensive and/or complicated to obtain in the case of mixtures for tek diving. The market is full of "plugs" used to protect the valve threads but easy to remove manually or via an allen key.

Far from the indelicate uses, one may also want to prevent the use of a tank by non-trained divers for gas mixture other than air. Individual markings on tanks, and adhesive tapes on valves also do not prevent the misuse of the tank.

These misadventures led Franck H. to contact EOCEAN to think about an alternative, an insert system that could only be removed by means of a special key that only works with a particular insert. This is how the 2Bloc system was born.

Each 2Bloc kit is based on a unique pattern, like the teeth of a key that allows the tank lock insert to be screwed or unscrewed. The inserts are available in DIN or M26 format and are recessed enough inside the valve to make their removal impossible without a special tool.

Dive clubs can with a key protect their entire set of tanks just as an individual can lock all of his air, nitrox, oxygen, helium tanks.

The kits come in two versions: one with two keys and two DIN or M26 inserts ( #EOC-2BL-SKIT ) and a premium version with two keys, two DIN inserts and two M26 inserts ( #EOC-2BL-KCDM ). It is possible to order additional inserts ( #EOC-2BL-ISRT ) or keys ( #EOC-2BL-SKEY ) with discounts for group orders. Each kit comes in a small, easy-to-take-away, durable plastic box that reduces the risk of insert or key losses. All the plastic parts and steels that make up these products remain fully recyclable in order to reduce the environmental footprint of this product.

Finally, as with most EOCEAN products, it is possible to customize keys and inserts (#EOC-2BL-CUST ) up to 6 characters to your initials or to the name of the club. If in production, the keys are gray, the DIN inserts orange and the M26 inserts fluorescent green, it is also possible to produce these elements with distinct colors at no extra price.
